I am not going to write a long post today but instead pray for each of you. We all need prayer and we need to absolutely pray for ourselves. I used to think I was wasting prayers if I did pray for myself but God has shown me better than that. We need His touch, His guidance and His spirit on us.
Life can get hard and we must know that we have the same Spirit that lifted Jesus from the dead inside of us. We must see in His word that He wants to be near to us… He gave us Himself and gave us His spirit to live inside of us. Be His servant and allow Him to continually mold you.
Father, thank you for today. Thank you for allowing us to open our eyes today. Lord, 2019 was so hard on so many of us but we praise You for opening our eyes. We praise You for showing us who You are. We know as we walk into 2020 we need to remain in You for direction. Help us be obedient when we do not feel comfortable. Show us how to be one with you and allow us to manifest Your will on earth as it is in Heaven. Change our thinking as we approach a new decade and let us always be reachable to You. We promise to stay teachable as You breathe new life into us each day. Allow all of our joy to be found from You. Heal us from within, Father, and make us whole. Let us seek and find every small morsel of You in Your Word, our lives, our country and our friends. Increase our faith and Lord, we ask for you to show yourself to those that do not know You. Make 2020 the year we become your servants! Awaken us to You and Your perfect authority. Teach us to be like You. Give us clarity on things we do not understand and allow us to be at peace not always knowing the whys. We thank You for the blessings bestowed upon us and look forward to a new year in and with You. May our bills be paid on time, with extra, and may we all have enough food for our family’s. Increase our faith and our love for You, Father. I ask for all spirits not of You be bound on earth and loosed to hell where they all belong. Allow us to recognize the fallen, cast them off of us and our people, and remove them from our lives. Show us as we sin so we may know we are doing wrong. Let us not ever grow weary but trust in You. Help us be bold in and through You! Forgive us of our sins, Lord. We repent before you and we want to be separate from sin so we may remain close to You. Thank You for Your mercy, and grace. Your forgiveness and Your unending love. We sure do love you. Thank You. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You for another day of life. In Jesus name ~ Amen
Nothing good comes without a little pain. Stop focusing on the pain and give it to the #WoundedHealer allowing Him to shape, and mold you. He is the potter and we are His clay! Jeremiah 18… the clay will never leave His hands because without the potter the clay is nothing.
