Complaining?

Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world Phil 2:14,15.

This is not a season for complaints of any kind. When you think of complaining find something you are grateful for and praise the Lord for that one thing. One thing will turn into two and then become numerous things that we take for granted. God started telling me in October ‘19 that toilet paper is a luxury. There are women in other countries that walk every single place that they go and still draw water from wells. When they need to use the bathroom they stop, squat, do their business and then keep on moving. We are so spoiled in the USA!! If you haven’t come to learn that there are luxuries we take for granted you really aren’t paying attention. I had no idea what was going to happen or that tp was about to be wiped from the shelves of all stores, that they were going to ration what we could purchase, or that food was about to be scarce but look at our world. Toilet paper is the least of my worries, there are other ways to wipe a butt and there are families literally wondering where their next meal will come from and people are hoarding toilet paper, can you see how stupid this appears now? It is a hard time but there are many positives! We are not at war on our soil and we very well could be because we have enemies due to our freedoms. People that do not understand the times, our world, and how things really are are the ones that are complaining about minuscule things.

It could be the 70’s again and we could be in the middle of the virus and the Vietnam war… praise the Lord that is not the case. We can all use this time to do positive things. We can all use this time to listen to the Lord, and read, write business plans, write those books, get in His Word, and learn to really pray.. etc from God but we were too busy and in too much motion to hear from God. We are not in control and that is clearly being seen. God is still very much in control of our world. God is going to use all of this for His glory and our good. Nothing will ever be the same but it will be better. We are trapped in our homes but we can use this as a reset within us and to not complain about all of this. It could be worse. I, too, have had moments that I wanted to complain about being in the house but God told me to shut it! To shut my mouth and not let any of it come out of my mouth because it gives room to the enemy. I get sick of fighting the enemy and do not want to do anything that gives him access to me. God has been teaching me about my enemy so I can fight better and I want to help everyone know satan better, not to focus on him but to know that it is him attacking with them goons. COVID19 is not and will forever be known as REVIVAL 2020! Call it what it is and do not give anymore power to the enemy.

There are benefits and one is we are on lockdown with God. He is talking loud and clear. Our children are not being indoctrinated into a culture not meant for the people of God but they have been given the chance to know God! To know there are only two genders. That God is the one in control and we need to repent for not listening to Him. This is a reset that God is using to reset His people and He is revising us. He is raising up a new breed that will not allow the church to be stuck in the spirit of religion but instead they will take dominion and rule the earth as He created us to do. It is all really exciting when we think about the good that will come from this. Spend time outside, if you can. Go play golf. Write that book! Write your business plan! Get in His Word so He can talk to you.. learn to really pray and seek His face.

Do not forget what this weekend brought a little over 2000 years ago. Jesus died and shed His blood for you!!! He died. He was killed. He was beat beyond recognition and we complain about not having toilet paper, put it into perspective folks. He died and we were told to never complain yet we do and so often when things could be a million times worse. Things will get way worse and we are already spiraling instead of using this time to gain access to the Throne Room of God. Stop that! If we cannot complain because when we dont we are left blameless then lets see what complaints do bring- blame. Satan still has access to God in the heavenlies and when we complain he runs and tattles on us; “look at her, she is complaining about not being able to shop. Look at that one not paying attention to the rules.” Can you see it? Do you understand now why the Bible has rules? We see people complaining all through the Bible and it hurts God’s feelings, it also gives room to satan to destroy you (1 Cor. 10, Num 14, Exodus 18 and so many more). The Bible is clear on not complaining.. so dont and trust me I know how hard it is but find something to praise Him for. Like this weekend is Easter, He arose from the grave for us and died so we could have eternal life with Him. Trust me you want to go to heaven! You want to please Him and not arouse His anger. He is the Most High God and He is still very much in control, do not lose hope or grow weary!

Lord, we thank You for allowing us this time to reset with You. To come before You in Your courts with praise. To be at Your throne with thanksgiving. Lord, we praise You and love You. Thank You for how You will use this and how You are using this. Thank You for renewing us and our minds. Let us always remember what You did for us. Thank You for Your blood, Your mercy, Your grace, and Your love for us. Lord, continue moving through our land healing it, and healing Your people. Father, help us use this time wisely and to not complain. We know it could always be worse. Help us to know that prayer is our lifeline and life support. We have the time and no excuse to not use it wisely, help us Lord, control us and move within us. We surrender to You and Your purpose. Lord, teach us to bring heaven to earth.. teach us to use our brains, teach us to use our hearts for You and to advance the Kingdom. We know You are in control and we thank You for being our God. In Jesus name we humble ourselves before You. Restore the joy of our salvation, remove all obstacles that keep us from You. Remove everything from around us that is not from and of You, Lord. Reset us and give us back our hunger for You- You are more important than any substance in this world and You are first. Guide us, direct us and keep us safe, give us the answers Lord and Your will be done not ours. Speak to us dear Lord, In Jesus name- amen.
