In Job we can clearly see God talking to satan and He asked his rotten tail where he came from. Satan answers and says he was roaming the earth to and fro. To know your enemy you gotta fight back!! That rat is still here and chances are you know someone working for him.
People that are in Rev 22 are working for stan. Know your enemy!! They may not even be aware of it and we have to stay away from those types. We also see in Proverbs 13 we can see that bad company will ruin us. They do so by bringing us to their level of moral standing. Which is usually never good so we need to stay clear. We are called to love everyone but there are things we are also instructed to stay away from. I know this isn’t always easy and at times that person could be your boss, your family or a friend that you love dearly. But in order to keep your heart right you have to move out of their grasp. The enemy and his goons will try and keep you in your past. They will remind you of all your sins when they cannot face their own.
We know stan is the accuser and since he and God are still in conversation he will accuse you of things to God. This is why asking for forgiveness and repentance is so important. If we get to God first, through prayer, the enemy has nothing to rattle tail on us about.
Satan uses evil spirits he releases to the earth to whisper in your ear. At times he is the one reminding you and you need to face what you’re being reminded of. Tell him point blank that you know you wronged God but that you’ve asked for forgiveness already so he cannot use it against you. Beat him to God!!
God is raising up a bunch of people right now and He will bring things to your memory when you are still and able to pay attention. There were things I had to relive last night in order to get over them. I had to face my own fault in these things and not shift all the blame onto other people. When we accept it and deal w it and know what we did wrong we can move away from the past. We cannot bring the past into our future. To truly forgive is to forget. God wipes our slate clean and we must do this same justice when it comes to people that have wronged us. Is this always easy? No! I do not like reliving my past or being held accountable for my actions but we must. When we do it’s over!! That memory will not ever come back again and it cannot be used against us by our enemy. If a person tries to remind you of something you’ve done just tell them; “I sure did but I’m saved by grace!” You do not have to remind them of their role in any of the circumstances but be done with it.
Father, thank Your for Your never ending mercy and grace. We love You and we praise You. Please forgive us of our sins and help us to move away from them. Search our hearts Lord and show us where we are wrong. Help us move past it and accept our responsibility to our actions. Teach us of our past mistakes so we do not make them again. Thank You Father! Thank You! Help us defeat evil that lives around us while reminding us that our war is not against flesh and blood. We submit for Your use Father God! Renew our minds and help us love like you do. In Jesus name – amen. We seal this in Your blood and ask the angels to go before us and protect Your words. Amen
