Meditate

Christianity is the only religion I have studied that does not promote the use of meditation and the power it has over your mind. I am not sure why this is but so many think it is this new age practice when that couldn’t be further from the truth. The Bible tells us to meditate on the Word day and night. This gets the word of God in your head. When your head is right it will all move into your heart. That is where we become all God has called us to be – the Heart!! Without love we are absolutely nothing.

Meditation brings a renewed mind and will transform you in your spirit. A strong spirit will sustain a man in all times of trouble. The warfare over walking into your destiny has been severe and I get it. I have been in the eyes of the storm. Meditation will help you clear out all of that negativity that the spirit of the world has put inside you. It will help remove all hatred because you have made a conscious decision to do the will of our Father. There is power in renewing our minds to fit into the mold God has preserved for us.

Being still and shutting up takes way more energy than running off at our mouths. It was so hard for me to start meditating but once I mastered getting in the presence of God through meditation I found there was not one thing stronger than Who lives in me!

Guided meditation is one of the best ways to learn to clear your mind. It takes you focusing on being active in the mediation process. This helps and I will only ever give you tools that truly helped me. Once you have learned to calm your mind get a scripture and meditate on it. This gets it in your head which enables it to move into your heart. This is a practice of God that we were commanded to do in order to heal us, to teach us to calm and take control of our minds. If you’re not meditating I highly recommend this practice. It will allow you to obtain the mind of Christ and for Him to speak directly to your heart. Many of our hearts were broken by people, by ourselves, by our selfish desires etc and this needs to be reset. We have been in a reset and it needs to be used wisely.

Prayer is next on this. Once you learn to control your mind (thoughts, will, and emotions) your prayers will no longer be hindered. God judges not only our actions but also our thoughts. Get everything under the obedience of Christ. EVERYTHING! And I know how hard this is but it can be done because I have done it. Ask for the grace to meditate and the grace to allow all things to come under the submission to Christ and His will for your life. Grace to pray as long as as much as He wants. There is power in asking for help from Him that loves you. His grace is sufficient and will sustain you in all times of trouble. Pray in the Holy Spirit at all times. This will build your most holy faith and it allows God to speak through you. This puts things in motion. Set an alarm and teach yourself to be obedient at all times. Our brains are the most untapped weapon at our disposal that we do not consciously focus on getting in control.

Setting an alarm to learn this practice works. I had to start this way now I literally crave meditation because it puts me in a thankful mode. It puts me into a realm of repentance. It puts me in peace. Use God’s peace because that peace it what gets your mind and heart into Him. It will guard your heart and your mind. Meditation puts me in a motivated realm of love. It puts me in a heart posture ready to receive instruction. I cannot even begin to tell anyone how much meditation will change you. Learn to do this and get in His Holy sacred presence every single morning of your life so you can be fully restored to former glory. It is time to go from glory to glory!!

There is a huge move from God on the horizon. The Holy Spirit is upon so many and if you’re paying attention you’ve come to see this. Faint not! You will see the glory of the Lord on earth! Revival, so many going into their calling and if you want to, learn to get your mind under control. This is a process that aligns you into obedience of Christ. Think on things that are pure, holy, righteous and seek Him!!

Tell God that you love Him. Tell Christ that you love Him. Tell the Holy Spirit you love Him. This trains you to feel His love and experience it to its fullest capacity. Once you know that love there isn’t anything you wont do for Him. He will tell you how much He loves you right back!

Jesus set me free and my mission is to help everyone else obtain this freedom. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed and the greatest way I could ever repay Him is to help others.
