Childlike faith! I have a crazy story lol… Memorial Day I had all 5 of my granddaughters and we had a blast roasting marshmallows for s’mores and just hanging out. Well, we left the door open bc it was cool outside and everyone was in and out. The result of that was a house full of flies. Addie, the baby, she’s 2, is learning about her authority in Christ. I’m teaching them all about this authority they, and we, carry!
I told her to walk in the house and tell all the flies to get out, right now!, then shut the door. She did and I watched the flies come out of the house!! I watched this!! I saw this! I witnessed this!
My daughter was laughing at me and I said just wait ! You’ll see! She has no reason to doubt!! It worked! We have authority over every thing!
Know the difference in teaching a child this and an adult? A child believes! They have never been hit w a spirit of doubt or fear! It’s trust. It’s faith. I believe we all have this in us we just don’t exercise it. It takes childlike faith to even try lol bc it sounds crazy to us. To her she didn’t know any different except hers Grami said do it. They will always know what they carry! That is how we need to be w Jesus. If He said it we do it no questions!!
Jesus had me practice my authority on flies. This is where I started! I moved on to mosquitos- I don’t want them anywhere near me! Then mice bc I don’t like them either. I guess my next thing is gonna be frogs…. I can’t stand tree frogs and had one in my house and at my door this morning ugh. 😩
I promise I still know when stuff sounds insane to our natural minds. Habakkuk! God told him if I told you everything you’d never believe me and He’s right! I must stand on 2 Cor 5:13 bc I know how this sounds hahaha
