Wanna know what I saw about our brains and alcohol today? Of course you do!

I remember that first drink and how it would bring millions of tingles and warmth all throughout my body. It was a sensation of peace. Thats like fake peace the world brings and it is not lasting. Gotta drink more and more … it’s only temporary.

You know how the body gets that heat inside when we drink? The warmth? The feel good sensation that runs through it’s veins. Let me tell you why! This is a tad disturbing so if you don’t wanna know what your brain is doing quit reading. Ok, so our brains release chemicals like dopamine, to make us happy. This is released in excessive amounts when alcohol is ingested and when the body is dying so it’s less painful. Alcohol is poison and putting it in the body causes these chemicals to be flooded to every cell bc the brain is preparing the body to die. How flocking crazy is that?! Our brains think we are dying w every sip. I kinda laughed at this at first bc I sorta laugh at everything and well, every drink? but also this made me ponder … how scared our brain must be when we drink bc it’s literally preparing the body to die. How sad is that? I felt remorseful instantly when I saw this. There have been days when I was terrible to my vessel. Praise Yeshua!! Praise Yeshua! Thank You for healing me!

Daddy, forgive us, we literally didn’t know, and forgive us for seeking peace in anything other than You. Had no idea but it makes sense. ETOH is very bad for brain injured people so it that makes total sense, too. It also delays healing, bc that is also done partly by the brainWe ask our bodies to forgive us as well and we thank You for healing us.
