There is power in the fast

There is so much power in fasting to increase your relationship with God that the enemy will come at you every which way but loose. It can be detrimental but you can and will win! Do not give up and you push through.

The first step is identify what is coming at you. Once you’ve identified it see how many times you’ve given it legal right to bug you. Demons (evil spirits, stans goons) must have legal right to enter you. Once you make it leave it will try and come back. This is why being still and listening to God instead of our own human reasoning is so important. I cannot ever stress the importance of prayer.

I know who I used to be and so does Satan. He tries to use my past against me. “Don’t you want to go kill them? No! I want God to work in their hearts and heal their brokenness. Satan get down! Get beneath my feet. You can’t come at me with this crap ever again. I get irate and start rebuking everything I feel trying to come at me. I want you to learn how to kick his butt too. Get him off of you… resist the devil and he will flee. Don’t give him legal access to your life.

We give legal access by our words. Our words are walking and we will be judged for them. Shutting up is something God drilled in my head. I close all doors in the sprint and go into my office and let God have it all. I know I can’t do this alone and I must have His help when I’m in heavy warfare.

Fasts lead to breakthrough and answers from God. This is why I tell people to fast. When you fast you gotta have God get you through it, especially if it is for a few days. I cannot fast alone and tried once. I ended up whining to God that I was so hungry. Now I let Him call the fasts. If He has been on you to fast I encourage you to get it done!

Father God, our real Daddy, we thank you for this gorgeous day you have given us. We praise your holy name and thank you for being faithful. You are so, so good to us. Thank You Daddy! We love you! We ask you to sow forgiveness, peace, love and wisdom into all people being used by the enemy to come against us. Thank you Lord! In Jesus name! Amen
