You know what I love most about having grown children? I can be their friend now. It us the absolute best to have two of the best humans on earth with the biggest hearts ever and be able to call them mine. I like them. I like them as people and not just because they are mine.

I get compliments on them ALL the time! Everyone I meet that knows them loves them. I love that! You always wonder, ya know? Am I enough? Am I raising them right? Do I show them enough love? Do I make them feel special? Do I spend enough quality time with them playing? Am I teaching them right? All these questions especially when you’re a single mom, it’s tough.

I have watched my children blossom over the last two years and I’ve learned them as friends not my kids that almost made me lose my mind when they were teenagers. I like them. I think they are genuinely great people that have a great head on their shoulders.

My baby got married!! He brought a wonderful woman into our family, and we love her beyond words – just like we love him! Thank You Father for such an amazing day and the people You’ve placed in my life!
