Be Still & Shut up

This is really a season to be fearless and know who God is to you. God did not give us a spirit of fear but of peace, love and a sound-mind. 2 Tim 1:7. I never believed in all of those spirits either until I saw them when I died. They were all there to get me and this is how I know they are real. I can hear them and smell them now and I know exactly which one they are. They can come in banded and more than one can hit at a time. having your spiritual eyes, ears and smell on is imperative to beating these things.

Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy; we all know that. He is getting a lot accomplished with COVID-19. It is stealing our economy, It is destroying our peace and it is trying to kill us all. We cannot let the spirit of fear win, any spirits really except our Spirit Man. It is time to cast him down and out of our lives. Fear smells like piss, to me. If you have ever walked into a bathroom that smelled of urine, or walked into a home that smelled like dog pee.. you know the smell of fear. I smelled him on my granddaughter this morning. I was tapping the dishwasher and the noise frightened her, I smelled fear immediately and was able to get him off of her, she is 4. We can pick up these spirits all the time and let’s get those spiritual noses open. When you pray a prayer you must believe God has done what you asked. You cannot go to Him in prayer about anything and then doubt Him.

Father, thank you for this day. Thank You for the miracle of us opening our eyes this morning. Thank You for our health. Father, please forgive us of any and all sins. We humbly as for Your forgiveness. Thank You Lord for loving us. Father God we all need to be able to smell the spirits and know when they are talking to us. We ask You to open our spiritual senses, our eyes, our noses, and our ears, and put them on overdrive so we know exactly what is trying to his us and when. Give us exceptional discernment so we know who is who. Lord, let us hear those spirits and know who they are, immediately. Lord, thank you for letting us know what is going on and for showing us how to beat satan. We praise Your Holy Name. In Jesus name, amen

Fear smells like urine. Death smells like something rotting. Infirmity smells like mildew, wet clothes left in the wash too long. These are the ones I know so far. If you don’t know what is there remember you have all authority and cast it out in the Name of Jesus.

When you smell any of these bind these spirits and loose a characteristic of God in its place. Bind infirmity and loose healing.. it has taken me a while to beat fear completely – I think he is the worst. I hate him.. it is time to know our enemy and kick his butt to the curb!

Lord, be with your people and we know this is going to pass over us. The ones that do get it will have a mild case that is no worse than having a case of the flu. Let us fear not for You are with us. Show them how to rest in You. Thank You, thank You for hearing us. Thank You for protecting us. Thank Your for Your hand. Thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us. amen.

Please remember to wash your hands. The best way to remember to do something is universal precautions. I was taught this in nursing school and everyone has it and I do not want it. If you aren’t using condoms to have casual sex chances are you aren’t washing your hands either. It is seriously time to protect yourselves! Be smart and wash your hands after you touch anything and before you touch anything else. Use soap!! This is really basic and common sense but someone has to say it!

For this weeks blog I want us to pray for our country. We need all the prayer we can get right now with the spread of this virus. Feel free to copy this prayer and say it daily over your and your loved ones.

Loving Father,

Thank you. Thank you for loving us. Thank you for your faithfulness to us. Thank you for being righteous and so much bigger than we could ever be. We adore all of you and we thank you for the Holy Spirit that resides in us.

Lord, please forgive us of our sins. We as a nation have failed you and we are truly sorry. We have come against you and spoken rotten things about those You put before us. Please show us mercy.

Thank you for allowing us to be in a free country where we may worship you. Thank you for allowing us to have great leaders that are looking out for our best interests. Thank you for making yourself available to us. We ask you to hear our plea.

Father God, this virus going around us taking people left and right. We pray for their souls and for you to be merciful when any come before you. Lord, if this is your wrath and anger towards us I humbly beg for forgiveness. Take this virus and shred it. Help those that are ill overcome and give them your strength. Place a hedge of protection around Your church. Allow us all to be safe from this harmful attack on mankind. Give our doctors your knowledge to beat this and give your strength to those suffering.

We cancel every plot, plan and scheme devised by the enemy. We reject any mode of transportation of this virus and it’s outbreak on Your people. Lord, heal them in Your mighty name. touch them with your mighty right hand. The spirit of infirmity we bind from our nation and we loose your mighty spirit of healing. May each of us walk in Your light, Father. Thank You for your kindness and love.

Be with our leaders and help them make wise decisions. Get in them so thickly we know it is all from you. Help them shut their mouths when necessary and not clap back to everything. Guide our military and keep them safe. Let our leaders do what is best for our land at this moment in time. Father, show people what is right and what is wrong before your wrath come upon us. Heal this land, Lord. Heal us of any and all things that are not from and of you. Bind their tongues where no hatred may be seen any longer. Let them know they need to follow you and not their own way.

Cast your cares upon the Lord. Do not be anxious about anything but instead pray about everything. Seek Him in the morning and pray without ceasing. Go to the Lord with thanksgiving. These are all things we are to model when we go into the throne room. Did you know the quickest way to the Throne Room of God is through praising Him? We were made to worship God. If there was anyone that ever deserved our adoration it is the Lord. We all opened our eyes this morning when there were people that had plans for today didn’t. There are people that lost their lives, lost their their children and we take opening our eyes for granted. As if it is something God is just supposed to do. He doesn’t have to allow us another second. Life is beautiful and can bog us down and that is why we pray.

Prayer is a conversation between you and God. Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew 6. If you do not know what to say start there. Or use the acronym ACTS. I like to sing to Him before I go to Him in prayer. It makes me feel like I have worshiped Him and then I go to Him and lay everything at HIs feet. I say the Lord’s Prayer at night before bed and I use ACTS when I pray in the mornings. God taught me to pray and He will teach you too. None of us know how and it astonishes me the changes that I have seen in myself since my process started. Trusting this process and preserving has been difficult. There were many days that prayer is all I had and I used it way more that twice a day. I have finally learned to pray without ceasing. This all come from God, trust me, because I did not know how to legitimately ask for anything. I have been shut down by people so much that I lost my way. I had almost given up on God because people gave up on me. Do not ever do that but take everything to Him. He has literally gotten me to a place where I do not complain, unless I am complaining to Him. It has been a long grueling process, I will not lie, but I am thankful for all of it. It has shown me what is in everyone else’s heart but also in mine. I could have run away and never walked into who He made me to be, well, I like to think I could have but we will never know because it was all so surreal. It was like I was watching my life through different eyes. As if I were watching it all play out from a movie and I had no control at times. I can see when the flesh was in control verses when the Spirit was in control. I praise Him for these trying times and the crazy things that happened during all of this.

My process has been seven years long. That is how long He has been training me up the way I should go. There was heartache, bending, breaking and chaos but it was all necessary because now I can teach it to others and help them through their process. I have learned the enemy and his agents more than I even cared to admit to, on most days, but I know how to beat him as well. I know what kind of faith it takes to snatch the keys of authority. I know how to love God’s people even when they are unloveable but I wouldn’t if God had not taught me. I was not a fan of people so when I tell you the changes are great believe me. He has done so much in me that it could only be God, and those that know me know this. I have only Him as my God now when there were so many things I would put in front of Him. It amazes even me what He can accomplish when we are willing.

Back to prayer and how to pray. God wants to be praised and He so rightly deserves it. Look back on your life and remember where you came from. Everything good that has happened to you is because of the Lord. Of course there are gonna be bad things but that is because of our choices and because of the evil one. Nothing worth having comes easy and to have a life with Christ there will be moments of disaster which should make you cry our to Him, the faithful One. When we move towards Jesus that is when satan comes at us hard and fast. This is because his main goal is to move us away from Jesus and to him. Many will already know this but he wanted to be equal to God but he isn’t so God has had to put him in his place. We all get to choose which one we will serve. Who do you belong to? Good or evil and you can tell everyone from their fruit because everyone that remains in the branch will produce good fruit, but when we cut ourselves off from that branch there is no love. Not of the good and that is even when people think they are good. If you run into a person that thinks they are good be careful of them because chances are they really aren’t. God is showing everyone who is good and with Him and who isn’t but it is up to us to pay attention. Yes, that went off course but I suppose someone needs it..

ACTS stands for A-Adoration. C- Confession. T- Thanksgiving. S-Supplication. We do adore Christ and if you dont you need to get to a place where you remember that He died for your sins. That wage of sin is death and He took your death on Himself. It is right and just to adore Him for that and that alone! Confession is the confession of our sins and the ones we do not know. It is easy to sin and one harsh thought is a sin when we do not ever consider our thoughts that way. Our thoughts are not private and God searches the heart and that mind. This is why we are told to renew our minds daily. Thanksgiving is easy because we have so much to be thankful for. I do not know your life, you’re right, but I do know that God opened your eyes today. Supplication is when we go to Him humbly for our needs. Humility goes a long way with God. I believe it is because we are acknowledging that we are nothing without Him and His blessings.

Our Father, who are in Heaven hallowed be thy name.. if you get stuck and need to pray this to learn to pay here is where we need to tell the Lord how much we adore and love Him. He has done so much for us and we need to let Him know how He is first in our lives because we know nothing is good without Him. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. we all need to get to a place where we want His way for our world and our lives more than our own way. Give us this day our daily bread. The bread of life is the Word of God and we need to saturate ourselves in His Word so when bad things happen we don’t spew bad and He wants all of His children to eat of food. He did give it to us. Forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. If we do not forgive and take the plank out of our own eye we need not to even ask for forgiveness of our own sins because we must forgive to be forgiven. So many forget this and are running around with their heart posture warped and need to be healed by God. He is the only one that can provide this healing. When we have forgiven and go to God for forgiveness He is just to forgive us of our sins. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. We will be tempted and being tempted is not a sin, following through is. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever and ever- Amen

It can be hard to pray to a God you cannot see or always feel but there is a way. I was reading a book last week when I came across a story that I love. I am going to attempt to tell it and I pray that I do it justice and do not butcher it. There was a girl in church and her father was dying so she asked her pastor to come pray with her dad. The pastor showed up that evening and went into the room of the girl’s dad. There was an empty chair there so the pastor assumed it was there for him and that the girl had told her father that he was coming. He asked the man if he prayed to God, if he were saved and all the necessary questions pastors are supposed to ask. The dad was honest with the pastor. He told him that he found it hard to pray at times because he could not see who he was talking to and that is why that chair that he was sitting in was beside his bed. That pastor assumed that the daughter told her father that he was coming but she had not and that chair was always there. It is there, the dad told, because he needed to have a place for Jesus to sit. A place for him to look at Him when he talked to Him. Jesus always sat in that chair because the Bible says, “ He will never leave you…” and since He is always with us I needed a place for Him to sit. The dad would talk to this chair as though he were talking to his best friend, Jesus and tell Him everything about his day. A week later the girl called her pastor to tell him her daddy had passed. The pastor asked if she thought he had went in peace. The daughter answer; “idk but he went with his head in the chair next to his bed.” That pastor wiped a tear from his cheek and said, “I wish we could all go that way.” … I loved this story and I hope and pray everyone gets as much from it as I did. I would love to die with my head in the lap of my Savior. If you’re having problems praying get you a chair and use your imagination. Imagine that God is sitting in that chair wanting to know everything on your mind and how your day was. Tell Him the innermost secrets and desires of your heart. Always know that He is right there with you because He lives inside of you but we all have moments when it is difficult to go to our daddy for help. Please know that is when He wants you to come to Him the most.

Being a Pray-er is not always easy but it is something we are called and instructed to do. I love the book of Psalms because there are many supporting verses of adoration, thanksgiving, confession, and supplication for our friends and our enemies. Setting an alarm on your phone may help you remember to pay when you’re learning. I still have that alarm set for 9 and 9. This reminder is what made me pray even when I didn’t want to or when I didn’t know what to pray. I also wrote out a prayer that I prayed every day because it reminded me what and who I needed to pray for. As time progressed I watched God answer every single one of those prayers and this allowed me to see Him in everything and everywhere. When you have a vision of someone or you see something about a person, even saying a persons name when you do not mean to, are signs of being an intercessory prayer and you need to take a moment and pray for that person. That is a gift from the Holy Spirit and one of the best kinds that creates intimacy of the relationship. Seek Him and find your joy in Him early in the morning as Jesus showed us in scripture.

Father, we love you and we thank you for all that you do for us. We know all good things are from you and we praise Your Holy Name for being so good to us. We sure do not deserve it. Lord, we confess our sins and ask you to please forgive us. We lay down ourselves to You and yield to You, Lord. Thank you for the so many blessings we take for granted. Toilet paper is a luxury and we sincerely thank You for this item and our food. The bread of Your Word and for nourishing our bodies with Your goodness. Father, teach us to pray with the fire from Heaven in us. Remind us daily of the things you have done in our lives and show us how to be better for You and Your Kingdom. Lord, bless us, keep us, protect us and guide our steps as we venture out in to the world today. Let us be a beacon of Your light, Father. Put one hand on our shoulders and the other on our mouths so nothing that doesn’t glorify You comes out of us. Show us where we are going wrong, show us where we are broken so You can fix us. Show us what we need to do in order to live and breathe for You, Lord. Help us love those that are difficult and give us Your heart. Open the windows of heaven over us Lord. Show us who You are and that all of our storms will run out of rain. You are the light of the world and we ask for that light to shine on us, Father. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

I do not pray perfectly or in KJV but I do pray from my heart and that is what He wants. When we act out of love we are yielding to Him. Ask Him to show you where you are going wrong so you can change your cycles and shift your season. These are all things that have helped me and I pray they will help you too. Go to Him with praise about everything … your praise is dangerous! It helps others break free but also busts your own chains of bondage.

God is just to forgive if we ask but I wanted to know what I was doing. If I know what I’m doing wrong chances are I won’t do it again bc I don’t want to disappoint Him. It is a good thing for unconditional love because there is no way to not sin a thousand times a day. Did you know some thoughts, even if you don’t act on it, are sin?! Me either!! 😂 it’s a lot! You can even stay at home and seclude yourself from the world and think; “I’m not going around anyone so I don’t sin against them”… if you don’t love everyone w a good heart, with no daggers and all forgiveness, you’re living in sin. This hurt my feelings too but God is quick to forgive and will show us what is wrong and where we have heart issues – but we have to ask. If we don’t ask how can He give it? I’ve said some crazy prayers over the last year, since God really started healing me and He does answer. This is why I say pray specific, you’ll see Him everywhere.

Two commandments but thousand of laws… If you don’t want to know don’t ask, I say that jokingly bc we should all want to know. We should want to know what we are doing wrong so we can fix it. Sin is serious and the more we have the further away from fellowship with God we are. The further away we are the harder it is to get your heart posture right again.

Got will break you down but He is immediate to build you right back up in His love. None of us are worthy but it is His perfect love that keeps us going. It takes Him breaking us to mold us … forged in fire! We are His gold!

Happy Valentine’s Day! Today is all about love, passion and of course, sadly, lust. This day is dedicated to lovers and a particularly commercial holiday geared toward money making when we should share our love with the people closest to us on the daily. If you died tomorrow would your people know you loved them? I am guilty too! We all fall prey to the world but it is important for people to know they are loved every day of their lives. If we cannot love someone right we need to leave them alone.

It is impossible to love like we are commanded without Christ dwelling in us through the Holy Spirit. I have tried and it is impossible if the people are not your children or family. Some family is hard to love if not next to impossible. With Christ I have learned how to forgive and to love in His manner.

We love because He loved us first. Can you even imagine dying for someone? Not just dying but being beat beyond recognition and then hung, on a cross? And, you had to carry that cross broken and battered… He knew He could put a stop to all of it, too, but He held the cup full of our sins. He is worthy to be worshipped, loved and praised. When you come to Christ and submit He literally gives you His heart, making it easy to love others. I could not stand people before my complete submission, and some I still do not want to be around. I can be though because God wants to show them a different kind of love through me. Is this weird to me and at times difficult? Absolutely! People are mean and hateful because of their own hard-hearts. The world can and does get in making it easy to harden your heart. Pain is what causes a heart to grow cold towards everything. A person with a hard heart will hurt everyone, or try to, in their wake. Once a person has a hard heart they begin to fall away from Christ through sin. The more we sin the further we are from Him and the harder it is to hear Him or to even know His voice. Repentance is what needs to take place and often times we must forgive others, and I mean, like, total forgiveness. That kind of forgiveness God extends to us which is impossible without Christ. I know this too because I have experienced that hate. I hated people for hurting me and would not forgive them because they didn’t deserve it- NONE of us do!! We do not deserve God’s forgiveness, but if we ask He is quick to forgive. We forgive because we are forgiven and if we don’t forgive we are not forgiven. When we learn to yield to the Holy Spirit we will love as God intended and have the relationships He desires for us. Some folks don’t always go with you no matter how long you have known or been friends with them. But we gotta love them anyway! We can just love them from afar.

Real love is unconditional.. when you put conditions on your love you are allowing your flesh to rule. We cannot be our own gods and this is most definitely a sign. We cannot have two masters! Your master could be self-gratification, money, lust, men.. or all of these making you your own God. I was my own for years, well, until I died. I loved the Lord and I knew Him, well I thought I did, but I never fully submitted. There was always a few aspects of my life I wouldn’t give control up to. Men, my finances, my kids, my career.. these were touchy areas of my life I didn’t know how to hand over. This has been a very hard process learning to depend on God. It is even harder when you have satan and his agents that try and make you fall away and sin. To purposely try and make you stumble and try their best to hold your past over your head. That is in no way, shape, or form love. I have learned since my total submission, to my entire life and handing it all to God, what love is and what love is not. I have also learned how to forgive, love and move on without some folks because they do not know how to really love. And, well, some folks are just not good for you. They suck the life out of you like a spiritual vampire.. ugh!

1 Cor. 13 is all about what love is and what love is not. Love is not self-seeking, proud, boastful, hateful, mean, but it does endure all things. Through brain injury I got to see who really loved me and who couldn’t care less about me. I couldn’t remember my life and that was held against me instead of everyone looking at it as getting to make new memories. This hurt me tremendously and it did harden my heart but I allowed it. I look back now and I should have stood my ground, known my worth through Jesus, and prayed harder. I am not condoning anyone’s actions but trauma can destroy families and people because we don’t and aren’t taught how to deal. I am a firm believer in counseling because of my past. It is so crazy people will totally think there is no way all of that actually happened to one person… it did! I say I have the craziest story ever told. That entire story is about to come out. I have learned that of all the gifts Christ deployed me back to earth with the greatest one is His love, with His heart. 1 Cor. 13:13 is so on point. I am nothing without He. I definitely am not strong enough to come out about everything without trying to have a little self-pity but I will gladly boast about my weakness because that is when He is the strongest! I love that and I love that I can see the entire Bible coming to life.

We know what love is not but what is love? Love is seeing the best in a person when they are at their worst. It is giving up for oneself for another. It is pure. It is a most beautiful thing and through all the pain I still firmly believe in love and the relationships love can and does create. It is unconditional and never using your past against you. It is getting up in the middle of the night because you are needed. It is being needed and wanted at the same time. I have had people that say they love me try and use my past against me.. that is not love! That is not how God intended for us to love. If He held our past against us we would all land in hell. Don’t think for a second people don’t go there either. He commanded us to love His church as He loves us, to love one another as we love ourselves because nobody would hurt themselves.. if you hurt yourself and inflict pain upon yourself you need to get some help, and a whole lot of Jesus. That is not love! We must know our worth through Jesus. You do know you bought at a HUGE price, right? Who would you die for? Most of us would only lay down our lives for our children but you know what? That is exactly what He did. We are all His babies! Love gives us hope. What do you put your hope in? God’s love for us in incomprehensible in our small minds. He not only died for us but He would literally go with us if we made our beds in hell.. ( Psalm 139:8) I know this as straight fact because He snatched me out of hell. It was not my time to die and I had to fight hard to come back but that is His love. If you need to repent please do so. He speaks to all of His kids and if He isn’t speaking to you it is because you dont really belong to Him. (John 8:47) You can always return like the prodigal son, (Luke 15:11-32) and He will welcome you with His arms outstretched for you to run into. He is the good father.

We are to do everything in love. If we don’t we have a lot of lust. Lust is misdirected love that should be supplied to God. I have had lust in my life and I am pretty sure it is part of growth but I had to get rid of all of it. Lust is also a spirit to make you misdirect your love from God- bind and loose it back to hell where it belongs. At all costs get it off of you! He is a very jealous God and tells us that numerous times in the Bible. If we redirect our love we are cheating on Him! Have you ever cheated or been cheated on? It does not matter which one you have done it has hurt you and other people but it mostly hurt God. Every time we break a covenant here in our realm, the natural, we also break it in the supernatural with God. Repent and move back to the Lord. He will take you back and there is nothing you can do to make Him not love you. He is a parent first. As a parent I get this because there is not anything my children could do to make me not love them. Trauma definitely tests love.. even between mother and children. I am not saying that any of us walked away from each other but trauma takes its toll and can harden a heart. It is important to turn to God when we are hurt so He can heal us. It has not been an easy road but we all made it through and we are better because of it. They could never do anything to make me disown them and I don’t understand parents that do this to their children or purposely hurt them. We are to make their lives better than ours and break down those generational curses or negativity spoken over them. There is life and death in the power of your tongue. (Proverbs 18:21) I have had negative junk spoke over me and said to me and have had to cancel it. That is a plot devised by the enemy. I have had to rebuke things and satan which was very hard for me, at first. I know my worth and my enemies now. I know the spirit world and I have looked in the eyes of satan.. I will never back down.

Some of this didn’t exactly go in the direction I saw, but it must be what He wanted out there for some reason. I am very transparent and not ashamed of my past, but I have been. I truly had to find my worth in Jesus. He has had to show me who I am in and through Him – took Him almost 45 years to do it and I will always be a work in progress. He is the potter and I am the clay, and I have felt this molding process. Learning to love like we are commanded was and sometimes still is the hardest thing I could ever accomplish because I had some severe wrath. Now, I do everything out of love for my fellow man because if I dont why would I ever do it? God gave me healing hands and He has told me some to heal to learn how to use them, but if I don’t have any love behind these hands what is the point? That would be me doing it for self-gratification and that is not love towards God. He gets and is awarded all the glory because I am nothing without Him, nothing! Everything I do is out of love for Him, and with that love I can love others. It is the most precious gift-love.
